WILLARD TREE PROGRAM

Sponsored by the Willard Moose Lodge 2153

The City of Willard is excited to announce a Tree Cost Share Program for residents within the City limits.

The City will reimburse property owners 50% (not to exceed $125) of the cost of a new tree to plant in their yard.

The resident must obtain approval for reimbursement before purchasing the tree. After approval, the resident will have 30 days to purchase the tree.

The tree must be purchased from an approved nursery, business, or landscaper.

The tree species must be pre-approved before purchase.

After the tree has been planted, the resident is to provide a picture and turn in a receipt for reimbursement, which will be mailed.

Property owners are responsible for all maintenance of the tree and assume ownership.

Reimbursement approvals are only granted March 1 - June 15 and September 1 - October 31.

Can I be reimbursed for multiple trees?
Unfortunately no. Our goal is to provide this opportunity to as many property owners as possible.

Can I participate in consecutive years
Maybe. This program is an annual program and may or may not be offered every year. We will take into account how often you have applied and remaining funds.
